Jen-Unibond SE contains phosphoric acid methacrylate ethers and methacrylates modified with maleic acid, which provide moderate etching of dentin and enamel surfaces for chemical and micromechanical bonding of restorative material to tooth tissues.
Main Features
- Provides chemical bonding with tooth hydroxyapatite by interacting with calcium ions.
- Dissolves the inorganic layer and promotes demineralization of intertubular dentin.
- Pene trates the structure of demineralized dentin, forming resin tags for strong adhesion.
Application Area
- Self-etch adhesive system for restoration of all classes of carious cavities (per Black) using composite and compomer materials, including flowable ones.
- Fixation of indirect restorations with composites, compomers, and ceramics using dual-cure cements.
- Protective varnish for cervical areas of teeth.
Additional Information
- Ensures simple and economical use.
- Creates an elastic hybrid layer reducing the risk of microleakage.
- Does not contain acetone or pulp-irritating components.
- Additional enamel treatment is recommended to improve adhesion.
- Packaging: 3 ml in a syringe or 6 ml in a bottle.
